Sabbath Truth

     The disciples of Christ never did keep Sunday.

     Later the Catholic church thought to change the Sabbath from the seventh day to the first.

     The reason for the new covenant which is the same law as the old covenant--

Hebrews 8:9

“…because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.”

      Man broke the law which is the covenant andthe fact that Jesus died for our sins is all the more reason why the law is even more solid than ever.

     With Jesus death it is called the new covenant and was sealed by His blood for when a person dies His word can not be changed.

Hebrews 9:16

      “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.”

     Hebrews 9:17

     “For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”

 Hebrews 9:24

      “For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:”

     We don’t know when our name will be next.

     Jesus is in the investigative judgment now and He has the same law to judge by as He gave on Mt Sinai.

     That is why the Ark is called the Ark Of The Covenant.

     God’s Law is eternal and is a transcript of His character.

     “For I am the LORD, I change not;” Malachi 3:6 

For eternal ages forever, the whole universe will be worshipping God on the seventh day Sabbath.

Isaiah 66:23

     God’s part of the covenant given to Abraham was never broken. It was man that made the change and broke his covenant with God.

      Matthew 5:18 

     For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Revelation 22:19
